Wash your hair with Iles Formula shampoo and conditioner. Comb the conditioner from the roots to the ends to separate the curls. Then do not comb the curls again until the hair is dry. Rinse the conditioner from the top so that the water runs down through the hair. Do not rub the curls with a towel, but lean to the side and squeeze the water out of the hair so that the curls retain their shape.
