Active ingredients: All-trans-retinol (1.0%) - helps promote collagen synthesis, improves skin texture and hydration. Time Release technology - Medik8 has developed different types of gradual release systems that encapsulate the active ingredient. The systems gradually release the vitamin A at a slow rate to avoid shocking the skin and to minimize irritation. Time Release technology also has the added benefit of protecting the vitamin A from the harsh environment and making it stable for a longer period of time. Application of Retinol should be started gradually. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the following two weeks and then every night. After cleansing in the evening: apply 4 drops directly to the face, neck and décolleté. You can also apply the drops to your fingertip and then massage the serum into your skin. Allow to sink into your skin before applying your regular Medik8 moisturizer. Important information: Build your skin's tolerance to retinol by applying every three nights for at least two weeks. Consult your doctor before using a retinol product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing peel treatments, or taking prescription acne medication.
