Moisturize. First, moisturize your skin to minimize cuts, nicks, and irritation while shaving. We recommend shaving right after or even in the shower. Moisturizing softens the hairs so the razor glides more easily. Use a facial scrub or wash your face to remove oil, dirt, and dead skin and prepare your skin for a comfortable shave
Apply shaving cream. Apply a shaving gel or foam. Lather and spread all over your skin to moisturize your hairs and to improve razor glide and protect against irritation
Check for dull blades. Check the lubrication strips, if they look faded or worn, or if the blades feel dull during shaving, it may be time for a new razor blade
